Welcome back!

Yes, I am welcoming myself back to the blogspot after a 2 month break from it! You know, it's been said taking a break is usually a good thing!

I figured I better keep track of my running over the winter, because I'm not very good at keeping paper journals or logs (I have WAY too many notebooks to keep track of for school).

This week has been tough. With sick kids coming to school so they don't have to miss out on the Thanksgiving party and festivities, I have been exposed to all sorts of germs and viruses. I haven't been feeling my best, but I still ran today. From now on, I'm going to try 3 days a week on the treadmill and 2 days a week of long runs outside.

Today, 4 miles on the treadmill at an average 4-5 percent incline. OUCH! I ran the last 15 minutes at a very very easy jog at a 6 percent incline. Tomorrow is Sunday, I hope to get a nice OUTDOOR run in, even if it isn't super long. I just want to feel the breeze again!

Thought for the day: I am dedicated, foolish, and stubborn. There isn't anything I'd rather be!
