It's nice to go out for an early morning run; when the birds are out in full force, chirping away. The bunnies are hopping around in zigzag motion, trying to save themselves from me, the scary giant...(hee hee!)
It was an enjoyable run this morning. Just an easy 3miles. I didn't even take my watch with me. I didn't need it. I was going to let my body tell me how fast/slow I should be going! And it felt great. I have to say, I felt the aftereffects of a harder run (with strides) from yesterday. This includes (but is not limited to...) sore glutes, tight muscles, and the legs were a bit heavy. I'm not complaining! If I never push myself, I'll never get faster.
Thought for the day: I wish I knew what the birds were chirping about...Is there a worm social at 3pm? Do they need to know what to bring for it?
