6.0, Good to Go

Following the plan, yesterday was a zero day for me. I rested, felt a little sore in the knee and hammy still, and iced a little bit here and there.
Today, back on the road...

I ran a bit too fast for the first 3 miles, but I felt really good, and focused on my form. It seems the faster I run (as long as I'm not pushing myself TOO hard), my form is better. It's when I slow down to 9min. pace, my legs seem to hit the pavement harder, and it [the run] feels more forced.

Well, I slowed a bit in the last 3 miles of the run (ESPECIALLY the 4th mile, I forced myself to run an 8:55 pace, and about 8:45 for the 5th mile). The last mile was a little faster at about 8:35-8:40. I ended up running about 50 minutes for 6 miles.

The Garmin was going in and out on me during the run (maybe because of the rain), but that didn't matter. I love running in the rain, especially when it's just misting out! Tomorrow is an easy 3 mile day. What a beautiful morning. I hope tomorrow is this nice!

Thought for the day: "There are no coincidences. Anything that coincides is said to fit together powerfully." (Dr. Wayne Dyer)
