It's a great day to celebrate such a glorious country in which we live! I'm thankful for the freedom to run on our roads (thanks to us, the taxpayers!), and breathe the air (what's left of the clean air)- All jokes aside...It was a nice morning for a run.
Okay, so today was an easy EASY 3 miles. I ran 8:41 pace (which is really slow, but felt really good after yesterday's harder run). I keep reminding myself that I'll be up to bigger miles in the next year or two. For now, this plan is working great (even though I just started it this week).
There were TONS of firework wrappers on the street and side of the street next to a house with tents in the yard...this is the "ALLEGED" house that had the people on the pontoon making noises at me as I ran yesterday. They must have had a blast last night! They left beer cans all over their yard as well. Good thing I don't make a lot of noise when I run. I hope I didn't wake anyone up!
Thought for the day: Have a great day! And I just want to take a moment and thank all of the brave service-men and women who are keeping our freedom alive! This day would not be the same without your devotion to our great country.
