When I run short runs, I tend to speed up the pace. This isn't intentional, it just happens. Today was my easy 3 mile run. I wasn't going to push too hard, and I overdressed (wore fleece running pants) to keep my muscles warm. I'm not sure that helped, but what I was hoping to do, was to keep my muscles from contracting too much in the cold (okay, it wasn't THAT cold...)
The point is, I'm trying everything I can, just to keep my sore muscles (namely my hamstrings and the muscles and tendons surrounding my knees) from turning from sore to full blown injured.
As for any non-running news, I have A LOT of work to do for my three summer classes. No more procrastinating. Today is the day I'm getting a large load of work done. Wish me luck!!
