Recovery Run

I ran 4 miles this morning (4.15 to be EXACT). My training calendar said 3 ez today, but since I only ran one mile for cooldown yesterday (instead of 2), I added an extra mile in today. That worked well!

Nothing much to say about today's run. It was nice and easy. I could feel a little soreness in my left hamstring, but other than that, everything felt fine. My track workout yesterday didn't seem to leave me feeling wiped out or too terribly sore, like I thought it would. I was able to keep a nice comfortable 8:30 pace for my ez run today.

I have an essay to put together for my Australia course. This will be a challenge, as I am just drained from all the school-work I've been doing lately. I have the time to do it...I'm just not sure I have the energy (but having to pay for my summer classes out of pocket sure boosts the motivation factor!)

After my paper is done, I will have just one class left this summer. It's an intense three week course on Inquiry Learning. I'm excited (and nervous) to get that class started (and finished!)

Thought for the day: I have learned a lot this summer...like I never want to have such a crazy schedule again...I want to spend more time with my kids, and don't want to be so short tempered due to stress. I hope next year brings a summer filled with time off and relaxation! (That is...after my two summer classes next year, are finished!!)
